Exploratory Trade Mission Brings Startups to Bilbao in Search of Innovation!

In collaboration with B Accelerator Tower, we are launching the Exploratory Trade Mission to explore Europe’s innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem. This initiative is designed to bring up to 16 startups to Bilbao, connecting them with government entities, SMEs, startups, investors, academia, and other prominent members of the B Accelerator Tower (BAT) community.

 

What Are We Looking For?

 

  • High-tech startups with the capability to collaborate with corporates (Open Innovation) or attract investment.
  • Startups with technology development needs looking to be supported by Bilbao’s Technology Centers and Universities, contributing to the solutions for prioritized sectors.

What Does the Mission Offer?

 

  • Networking activities with local ecosystem members and major corporations within the European Union.
  • Startups will receive a €2,000 scholarship to cover travel and accommodation expenses during the mission.

Application Requirements:


  • Startups must align with technological priorities in one of the following sectors: energy, industry 4.0, mobility, logistics and retail, digitech and quantum ecosystem, healthtech, food and agrotech, construction 4.0, and fintech.
  • Must have a minimum viable product (MVP) validated in the market.
  • A business model primarily focused on B2B.
  • A clearly defined and segmented target market in Europe, along with a commercial strategy.
  • Proficiency in English.

This mission represents a unique opportunity for startups to connect with the European innovation ecosystem, explore collaboration opportunities, and accelerate their growth in a dynamic and promising environment.
