Antioquian researchers create a sensor to prevent building collapses

A group of researchers from the University of Antioquia, EIA, and UPB, together with Área de Ingenieros Consultores, developed an innovative sensor to help prevent building collapses. This device significantly reduces the risk of interventions or evacuations in the city’s structures. 

The initiative is part of the R&D&I Projects call led by the G8, which fosters collaboration between academia and industry to generate solutions impacting infrastructure security and stability. To learn more, click here.
