Medellín drives digital talent with 400 training licenses, 200 of them for women
By Ruta N -The Ruta N x Platzi alliance is consolidating as a key strategy to close talent gaps and respond to the labor market demands in Medellín.
Medellín continues to strengthen its path toward digital transformation by investing in its most valuable asset: its people. In partnership with Platzi, Ruta N made available 400 online training licenses, 200 of which are designated for women, with the purpose of expanding their participation in the technology industry and opening more opportunities for quality employment.
Through this initiative, participants gain access to more than 800 courses in areas that currently represent the highest labor demand: digital marketing, artificial intelligence, backend and frontend development, as well as strategic topics such as cybersecurity, blockchain, data analysis, cloud computing, and English for technology. All of this is designed to ensure that the city’s talent develops the skills needed to meet the challenges of Industry 4.0.
The delivery of these licenses reflects Medellín’s commitment to innovation, equity, and employability. It is a clear effort to close gender gaps, strengthen local talent, and consolidate an ecosystem where more people can grow and contribute to the city’s economic and social development.
