On May 29, 2023, N-iX, a global software development service company focused on enhancing engineering capabilities for firms and developing software engineering products, cloud services, data analytics, embedded software, IoT, machine learning, and other tech domains, arrived in Medellín.
This year, N-iX plans to hire around 60 Colombian specialists to join its team of over 2,000 talents.

Founded in 2002 in Ukraine, N-iX has established strategic alliances with global industry leaders, including Fortune 500 companies like Gogo, Fluke Corporation, Office Depot, Seeking Alpha, Saks Fifth Avenue, and TuneIn.
ProColombia celebrated N-iX’s arrival: "We welcome N-iX to Colombia, supporting the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism’s goal to attract investment that fosters technology transfer and human capacity development," stated Carmen Caballero, ProColombia's President.
Juan Camilo Mergesh, Executive Director of ACI Medellín, highlighted Medellín’s talent pool as a valuable asset for attracting tech companies and commended N-iX’s choice of Medellín for its competitive costs and proximity to key markets.
For N-iX, Colombia is rapidly becoming a top outsourcing center, combining business practice maturity, cost-effectiveness, a wealth of talent, and close geographical proximity to the U.S.
In the coming years, N-iX plans to scale its Latin American division, continuing the company’s annual growth rate of 30%.
