Nearly 3,000 people will be trained in technology, thanks to an alliance with MinTIC and the ILO.

In an effort to strengthen citizens' technological skills, the Medellín Mayor's Office, through Ruta N, in partnership with the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (MinTIC) and the International Labor Organization (ILO), will launch the Senatec training program, benefiting nearly 3,000 people. Interested individuals can register from August 6 to 27 at https://info.rutanmedellin.org/formacionsenatec.

 

"This initiative reflects our commitment to strengthening technological skills in Medellín and Colombia. We are not only enhancing local IT talent but also offering training aligned with the demand from national and international companies and certified by global industry leaders," said Carolina Londoño, Executive Director of Ruta N.

 

To participate, applicants must be over 14 years old, have a valid identification document, their own email address, and be a Colombian citizen. Additionally, they must have an active mobile number, 10 hours of weekly availability, access to a computer, and a stable internet connection.

Participants will learn about development, programming languages, emerging technologies, digital experience, project management, blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), and data management, among other topics. The training will also be certified by organizations such as Google, Microsoft, Meta, and IBM.
