Ruta N Ranks Among the Top 3 Public Innovation Ecosystems in the Country
By Ruta N -Ruta N secured a spot in the top 3 of the 100 Open Startups ranking, which annually highlights the most attractive startups for the corporate market and the public and private organizations leading Open Innovation and relationships with startups.
The 2023 edition saw participation from over 150 medium and large companies and 250 startups. A thorough evaluation of relationships with ecosystem organizations that directly contribute to open innovation in the country was conducted.
Ruta N is one of the most recognized entities nationwide for fostering innovation ecosystems and is the top leader at the regional level. This achievement reflects the corporation’s ongoing efforts to promote innovation in Medellín and Colombia. The ranking award ceremony took place on November 1 at the Open Innovation & Investor Summit.

Since its inception in 2016 in Brazil, the 100 Open Startups ranking has become a reference for companies, leading investors, and the media in the field of innovation. In Colombia, it is published by 100 Open Startups in collaboration with Connect Bogotá Región, the innovation network of Bogotá and Cundinamarca.
The ranking methodology awards points to startups that attract the interest of medium and large institutions and to companies that establish business relationships with startups. Selected startups and ecosystems are validated by ecosystem specialists, company executives, and investors.
Ruta N reaffirms its commitment to fostering innovation in Medellín and contributing to the growth of the entrepreneurial and tech ecosystem in the region.
