Participants gain access to content covering topics ranging from artificial intelligence to automation, blockchain, software development, and more.

During the first eight months of 2026, Ruta N has strengthened the digital skills of more than 10,000 people through programs such as Generación Tech, which reaches more than 6,000 students across 200 public and private schools, introducing them to science, technology, and innovation while encouraging them to develop solutions to real-world challenges in their neighborhoods and rural districts; Horizontes Senior, which supports 120 people between the ages of 45 and 75 in developing digital and socioemotional skills; and more than 10 intensive training programs (bootcamps), which have certified over 4,000 participants in artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, productivity, and other areas.

"Talent is one of Medellín's greatest assets for creating new opportunities. That is why, at Ruta N, we work to bring science, technology, and innovation closer to more people and strengthen the skills required in today's world. Every person who acquires new skills expands their own possibilities and those of our city. We will continue connecting Medellín's talent with the opportunities generated by science, technology, and innovation," said Simón Arango, Director of Strategic Projects at Ruta N.

The bootcamps have been made possible through collaboration with national and international partners, including Pix Robotics, Smart 4 AI, SoftServe, Digital House, Triario, BAF, and Generation. Through these programs, participants have developed knowledge in robotic process automation with artificial intelligence, AI-powered productivity, machine learning, and the application of artificial intelligence to education and organizational transformation, as well as tools such as Claude and HubSpot.

One participant in these intensive training programs focused on applying artificial intelligence to problem-solving is Jennifer Salazar. She highlighted how the experience introduced her to tools she can apply in her profession in international business administration. "I've always said that the only limit is a mental one. What I take away from this experience is the opportunity to learn on a large scale, teach others, and create more in these fields that are transforming the world," she said.

On October 30, Break the Code will take place, an initiative developed in partnership with N-iX featuring speakers from Microsoft, Cuesta Partners, and other organizations. The event will provide a space for learning and building professional connections. Registration is free and available at events.n-ix.com/break-the-code.

Through these digital skills training strategies, Ruta N connects talent with companies, personal development projects, and learning opportunities that can open new professional pathways and contribute to Medellín's economic and social development.
