The selected companies will receive strategic mentorship, specialized training, and opportunities to connect with corporate partners and investors.

Ruta N’s Medellín Next program has announced the 48 startups that will make up its second cohort, aimed at accelerating the growth of the city’s technology-based companies and facilitating their access to real scaling and internationalization opportunities.

For this call, more than 140 applications were received from sectors such as Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and software, energy, health, e-learning (education platforms), aviation and aerospace solutions, among others.

“The growth of innovative startups is key to strengthening a knowledge-based economy built on technology, research and development. These companies generate skilled employment, develop technological solutions and open new investment opportunities, helping position the city as one of the most dynamic innovation ecosystems in Latin America”, said Camilo Zapata Wills, Director of Strategic Relations at Ruta N.

The selected startups come from different districts across Medellín. The highest concentration is located in El Poblado, Belén, Guayabal and La Candelaria. Startups from Villa Hermosa, Castilla and Laureles are also participating, reflecting the expansion of the innovation ecosystem across different areas of the city.

“This is a challenge for us because our main goal is to scale the company not only in Colombia but internationally. We believe Medellín Next will provide us with visibility, mentorship with Endeavor and, above all, support in raising investment that will help us achieve our goals toward 2030,” said Óscar Hoyos, CEO and co-founder of Uptime Analytics.

During the selection process, factors such as business traction, the strength of the business model, scalability potential, and the economic and social impact of each initiative were evaluated.

Below is the list of selected companies:

In this edition, the program will feature two support tracks depending on the level of business maturity. The first is the Emerging group, made up of 18 companies with revenues between COP $100 million and $799 million, which will focus on strengthening their strategic capabilities for growth. The second is the Advanced group, composed of 30 companies with revenues above COP $800 million, which will receive specialized support to drive commercial scaling, expand their market connections, and explore internationalization processes.

Throughout the program, startups will have access to strategic mentorship, masterclasses with national and international experts, networking opportunities with corporations and investors, and visibility within the innovation ecosystem.

With Medellín Next, Ruta N continues to promote business acceleration and scaling in the city, aiming to strengthen the innovative business fabric and position Medellín as a District of Science, Technology and Innovation with global reach.
