The next market will take place on September 16, starting at 7:30 a.m. in the food court at the Ruta N complex.
Ruta N is bringing back Mercados Campesinos, an initiative that connects producers from Medellín’s rural districts with the community of the District of Science, Technology and Innovation. Held in partnership with the Medellín Mayor’s Office, the initiative aims to promote local purchasing and create a direct channel between farmers and city residents.
The next market will take place on Wednesday, September 16, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the food court at the Ruta N complex.
Visitors will find fresh vegetables, plants, traditional food, sweets, and other products sold directly by producers from Medellín’s rural districts. Mercados Campesinos will continue at Ruta N throughout 2026, with additional dates scheduled for October 14, November 11, and December 16.
Ruta N invites visitors to bring their own reusable bags for their purchases, as part of the sustainability actions accompanying this initiative and aimed at strengthening local consumption and the connection between rural and urban communities.
