Artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, and body-monitoring devices were part of the experiences.
Artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, and body-monitoring devices were among the technological experiences that Ruta N incorporated into Medellín Music Lab La Serie, allowing participating artists to explore new ways of preparing for and experiencing their performances.
The technological component included Nova, Ruta N’s artificial intelligence assistant, as well as 3D environments created by local talent and immersive experiences. Using virtual reality headsets, participants simulated performances in a packed Atanasio Girardot Stadium and experienced conditions similar to those of a live concert. They also used devices designed to generate physical sensations and measure variables such as heart rate through body scans.
In addition, this month Ruta N brought an augmented reality session featuring Nova to the Medellín Music Lab finale at La Macarena. The experience was projected onto the stage screens and broadcast by Telemedellín, connecting science, technology, and innovation with music and entertainment for an audience of more than 9,000 young people.
Ruta N’s participation in Medellín Music Lab La Serie demonstrates how technology can be brought into any setting or sector of the city to drive and strengthen it, while also addressing its challenges and creating more opportunities.
